It doesn't.

The Second Age is 100 years/turn, so if your armies are THAT slow then they aren't going to be winning any wars.

Does anyone know what turn it is? My count puts it around turn 16, but I lost track when we entered the Second Age.

If it is turn 16, we should start voting on whether or not to move on to the Third Age.

Lizardmen with a T-Rex leading them? We're all fucked.

kobo1d, remember how combat works.
You come up with your own modifiers (be reasonable about them), and if an army has to fight more than one opposing army it gets a bigger penalty with each victory.

HMTK, you know you have to spend 4 points to command a race to build a city, right? It doesn't come with the race.

Also, what does "+1 agriculture" mean?

FUCK!

So, i can change them building armies to building cities eh?

and it is fluff that i will expand on later, didn't want to waste points on something that will have no relevance, but i will pay for the more advanced version... ie it was me saying they were better at farming

Yes.

And your Avatar raising an army only costs you 1 point.

Alright guys, I stopped counting turns days ago, but I think we're at the point where we need a unanimous vote to stay in the second age. In fact, I'm pretty sure we're far past that.

So we're going to the third age, effective next turn (4:00 EST) unless every single one of you objects.

Remember to check the new points costs; creating new races/subraces is prohibitive but commands get even cheaper.

Why are none of Monty's cities being showed on the map?

You have to spend the points to command the races to build them, and then mark them on the map.

Avatars alone cant attack anything, IIRC. And if they're all going to be exactly the same, why not just make them a race?

edit: 8 plus 21 so I have 29 points left.

The nightbringer commands his avatar to make another army in karneth. He then commands his city of zarr-nagrund to make another army.

The nightbringer then creates another race, unlike any created before. They gnaw at the roots of the world, plotting the downfall of all other races. They are the skaven, a race of rat-men created in the darkness beneath the mountains of night.

They dwell in the mountain hold of skavenblight, deep within the earth in dark tunnels and vast caverns. The nightbringer teaches them many things. Assasination, controlled breeding, engineering and warfare. The skaven are split into many clans, The bulk of these clans consist of warriors and there slaves they captured from eliminated rivals, all vying for power. The most powerful however specialize in the teaching the nightbringer gave them allowing them to carve there own.

okay so I got 13 point left.

my cities are still not being shown, and i paid the points for them to be made... Sad

Yeah blame kobo1d. I don't know most of what has happened for the past 3-4 days so if you made a city I personally wouldn't know.

edit: is it just me or has this game kinda just... stopped. Like no one is really posting that much.

Well this seems to have died.

Time to call an end to the current game and come up with a name for our world?

Not really much to it. The only semi-eventful thing was the invasion of Sunspire

I personally blame the 8 hour turns as the cause for the apparent blandness of the game.
